Privacy Policy
Overview
Praxis ("we", "our", "the app") helps you turn saved content — Shorts, Reels, threads, LinkedIn posts, and other links — into scheduled practice sessions. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.
What we collect
Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider, Clerk, collects your name and email address (and, if you use a social sign-in, basic profile info from that provider).
Content you save. URLs, titles, source (YouTube, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, or web), and any notes or meta text you add — either pasted directly, or shared into Praxis from another app's share sheet.
Goals and sessions. Goal names, schedules and reminder preferences, session scheduling data, and the reflection notes you write after each session.
Settings. Notification preferences (backlog reminders, goal reminders) and other in-app preferences.
Device data for reminders. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; we don't operate a separate push-notification server.
How we use it
- To run the core product loop — sorting, scheduling, and tracking your saved items against your goals.
- To show your progress (streaks, applied rate, backlog health).
- To send the local reminders you've configured.
- To respond if you email us for support.
We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs in the app.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored in a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, protected by row-level security policies scoped to your account — only you can read or write your own rows. Authentication is handled by Clerk; every request to our database carries your Clerk session, and there's no separate password or credential stored by us directly.

Links you save
Items you save link out to third-party platforms (YouTube, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and general web pages). Opening a saved item in Praxis may load that page in an in-app browser. Once you're viewing that content, the third-party platform's own privacy policy governs how it handles your data — Praxis doesn't control or receive data collected by those platforms.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at nischaldgowda77@gmail.com — we'll process the request within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
Praxis is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above.
